SLS Lux Light Installation

A message from the artist:

Have you recently walked around the streets of Brickell? It’s urban living redefined. My inspiration in creating the light art show for SLS LUX BRICKELL unfolds to evoke a greater sense of connectivity to Miami’s urban life, ourselves and each other. Creating a sense of community and connecting to its vibrant environment will provide a unique vibe for the Miami urban lifestyle for years to come.

As a lighting artist, it is always the light that I remember most about any location. It is my inspiration. Its elusive quality can transform a building or a landscape in just a matter of seconds. I strive to convey that sense of place by capturing its fleeting magic.

The art light show is programed using a sound synchronization software that allows a theme inspired playlist to create a magical allure. The art light show seeks to bring forward the spirit and architecture of the building, taking into account the location and surrounding environment, highlighting each floor that creates the unique design on the building’s façade. It is a building that comes alive at night, projecting expression inspired from visual metaphors of local urban life infused with movement, elegance and sophistication.
