RELATED INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES ROBERTO ROCHA AS DIVISIONAL PRESIDENT AND CARLOS ROSSO AS VICE PRESIDENT
Seasoned Executives Will Oversee $1 Billion in Planned Latin America Real Estate Developments
Miami, FLORIDA (March 15, 2007) – Related International, a newly formed company affiliated with The Related Group, has announced the appointment of two Latin American natives and real estate development experts to the company’s top positions. Roberto S. Rocha will serve as Related International’s President while Carlos Rosso has been appointed Vice President. Both Rocha and Rosso will have important roles to play as Related International moves forward with its plans to invest more than $1 billion in Mexican real estate over the next two years.

Roberto Rocha, born in Nicaragua, has been with The Related Group for more than 24 years. Prior to being appointed President of Related International, Rocha served as Senior Executive Vice President and Director of Development for the company. As head of development, he directed all rental and condominium development, new construction, project financing, land acquisition and disposition. He has also been an integral part of the sales, lease-up and asset management function of all the firm’s properties.Throughout his career, Rocha has developed more than 80 projects with more than 23,000 units.
Rocha has also worked extensively with numerous philanthropic organizations, including serving as current Board Member for Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, New World Symphony Campus Expansion Committee, the Builder’s Association of South Florida and past Board Member of Jerome Bain Real Estate Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Finance from the University of Miami.
Carlos Rosso, who joined The Related Group in early 2002, will work with Rocha in developing such projects as Related International’s initial venture, ICON Vallarta, a luxury condominium situated on five acres of oceanfront located minutes from downtown Vallarta. Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President of Related International, Rosso was responsible for all aspects of development for projects including 500 Brickell; Marina Village at Boynton Beach; The Residences at Merrick Park in Coral Gables, and St Andrews at Kings Point in Tamarac. Prior to joining Related, he worked as Vice-President of Real Estate Development for Investments Limited. Rosso also worked for 10 years as a Project Director for Besix International where he oversaw the development and construction of more than 10 million square feet on a variety of projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Rosso graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1989 with a Masters Degree in Architecture and holds a Masters in Real Estate Development and Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
